Artekno Oy was founded with the aim of manufacturing and trading techno-chemical products, plant nutrients, and various kinds of textiles.
The manufacturing of expanded polystyrene (EPS) begins. Production is automatized in 1965. The manufacturing of EPS product continues to this day.
The manufacturing of reinforced plastic products begins with technical plastic products. It is still an important part of the operations of the factory in Luopioinen.
The manufacturing of technical polyurethane products begins in Luopioinen. It was transferred to Kangasala in 1988, where it still continues.
Artekno signs a contract of representing Alcan aluminium containers and packaging machinery in Finland. The packaging sales are still going strong.
The manufacturing of cellular polypropene (EPP) products begins in Sahalahti. It is later transferred to Luopioinen, where it still continues.
The manufacturing of proprietary cardboard bases begins. The manufacturing continues to this day.
Artekno signs a subcontractor contract with Polyform AS on the manufacturing of plastic boxes. The entire business operations are acquired in 2010.
Artekno Eesti OÜ is founded.
The production of PDCPD begins.
3D printing is implemented in the production and IoT applications in thermologistics. Biodegradable cell foam is introduced.
